In 1923, Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) was founded and began the production of Breguet aircraft. Over the next few years, CASA expanded to work on many aircraft for such entities as the Spanish Air Force and others. Through the 1950’s, CASA worked on a contract for the United States Air Force for maintenance of F-100 Super Sabres and a contract from the Spanish Air Force to overhaul T-33s. From 1999, CASA became a part of EADS and the Spanish branch was named EADS CASA.
